Sorry, guys, the Hypno Contest isn't gonna happen for me this year. >_< I have too much going on.
I've had a rough year and it really was a heroic struggle even to finish "Stranger Things." I have 3 or 4 more stories that are at least half-done, and I would like to focus on those: Night Drive 2, Arrested 3, Stranger Things 2 and a new story called "Breaking and Entering."
Writing has been a struggle for me lately, and by this point I flat-out don't have time to start and finish the story I'd hand in mind for the contest. The hyena and I leave in a few days for a road trip to spend Christmas with his parents, and there's too much to do. Now my grandmother is in the hospital and while she will probably recover that is a new level of OMG. My work moved over the weekend and of course Christmas is in 8 days. I just don't think 2 weeks is enough time to produce a quality story.
Anyway, I'm sure everybody understands, and think of it this way: the 3rd and final chapter of the "Arrested" series will get here this much sooner. :3
I am available to review/make recommendations on people entering this year (and as a reminder last year I took 3rd). Now there's no reason for me to secretly give you bad advice. ;) Note me.

it's not looking good with grandma so we'll see how it goes. thanks again for your work on ST....
Hopefully this contest will have a 4th year and you can work on it for that. =)

If anything, a road trip to your In-laws sounds fun. I hope you both have a safe trip to and back, and a very relaxing and pleasant time for Christmas, Bud. <=)
