Agree on both counts! I think I've only heard the Crosby/Bowie version twice, but I like it! Thanks for reminding me about it - I'm gonna check out iTunes! :3
*deep sigh* My favourite Christmas song is ELP's "I Believe In Father Christmas." Speaks volumes about me, I'm sure; you might not want to cover that one, though it is a pretty powerful song.
Fun Fact: the instrumental chorus between the verses of "I Believe In Father Christmas" is taken from Sergei Prokofiev's "The Troika," from the music track of Aleksandr Faintsimmer's film "Lieutenant Kijé" and isn't really Christmas music at all.
It's my favorite.
y'know, I just might give this a shot!
*finds the Michael Jackson version*
ooo...I like this one. gotta take some time to learn it, find an instrumental somewhere :3

Lieutenant Kijé, (in case you're curious)
...and the Troika...
...and I Believe In Father Christmas, (kind of a downer)
This one! It's so fun!! :3c
