When doing a free raffle do you still put your signature on the artwork even though its not your character?

I would. It's still your work, even if it's not your character and I don't think anybody could fault you for taking credit for your own work.

okay just making sure but what if your doing like a character redrawn in a different style? such as Super Mario Princess Peach (normal drawing above and then Furry drawing on bottom) I clearly stated that the image was taken from google

I think it's okay to sign fan art, even of copyrighted characters like that. You're not claiming her as your character that way, just claiming your drawing of her. I'm no legal expert, mind, so I couldn't tell you what the actual laws about this might be, but I've seen plenty of people sign their fan art and nobody seems to really mind.

lol I didnt mean normal drawing as in normal lets say its an anime pic of princess peach above and then the redrawn version on bottom

That's actually the sort of thing I thought you meant. Sorry if I wasn't clearer here. But if the redrawn version on the bottom is something you created, I think you can sign that part of it.

it is my own creation BUT the above picture which im showing you the transformation when I did the drawing,

Simple way of explaining is

1: un-owned anime picture above

2: My version of the drawing under the un-owned picture from above

3: put them next to each other into one jpg/png or whatever picture file

Then it may be wise to play it safe (I don't even put sig's under my own work, at the end of the day only I can reproduce it.)
