1st place winner isn't even a rendition of his main character transformend into an otter..just a purple otter?

Their character is a purple fox with white spots. The otter is purple wih white spots. Seems like their character drawn as an otter to me.

Putting effort is not the same as drawing the best, so let's get that clear. And I really care too much about who won because I didn't enter, but I do remember seeing a lot more effort in other pieces from people I watch. And that's that~ if you don't agree, well that's fine, props too you. Art is very opinion based, so going around telling people who so not like the winners to suck it up or their opinion doesn't matter is just childish and trying to start drama.

People don't seem to get that originality, composition, and materials are potential deciding factors. Why SHOULDN'T a watercolor piece stand out above oodles of digital works? :)
