Goodbye, Mr. Conducter.

The first time I ever saw George Carlin, I was 5 years old and watching Shining Time Station. I remember being confused when this gray-bearded ,raspy voiced Mr. Conductor replaced Ringo Starr (or vice versa, i could never tell what the episode order was...), but he looked and sounded a lot like my dad's best friend, so I liked him anyway.
Years later, I was flipping through my father's book collection and found the book "Napalm and Silly Putty". I picked it up and couldn't stop cackling. Then Comedy Central showed a few of his old stand up routines and I was hooked.
Rest in peace, Mr. Carlin.
