Happy Solstice Xmas End of the World

Tomorrow is the winter solstice and the day the world is to end according to conspiracy theorists. Wonder what some of these people are going to do when the 21st comes and goes with nothing happening. And there they have 10 years worth of protein drinks, thousands of dollars worth of guns and ammo, and several years' worth of vitamins squirreled away in their basements.
With the coming of the calender's end a great desolation came over the critters. The accumulated knowing of physics, and ration, and headlight fluids was not enough to rescue them from the imaginary sequencing of time and superstitious DOOM! A great cry of woe arose across the land and there was much gnashing of unfulfilled expectation of literal zombies, skynet, or floaty bits of monster anatomy. In it's place a yawning jaded gestalt went to work the next day. It is as the bacon-tree has told me.
