I had a weird weekend man...

So this weekend me and the guys got together to play some D&D and generally have fun. while we were hanging out, we decided to go to 7-11 and grab a snack.
so we take the shortcut through the alley-way and there's a group of two native guys and a girl in the alley. as we are walking along, minding our own business one of them stands up and starts yelling at us. then he pulls a full bottle of tequila out from under his shirt and threatens to bust it over our heads. we kept on walking and ignored him, and since we had them outnumbered he let us by.
Now at this point i'm considering contacting the police or something because that guy was really obnoxious and seemed like the type who might actually cause some shit. but before i can finish debating the idea, i see someone hanging out behind the 7-11. looked like a security guard.
we get closer and it turns out it was a cop. he sees us coming and asks us if we happened to see a native guy running with a bottle. we told him about the native guy and his two friends back in the alley, and he calls in for backup.
next thing i know, the K-9 unit comes running by, then the cop follows them, and then a cruiser goes whipping past us.
as it turns out this dumb bastard robbed the liquor store (my mom says with a weapon if there were that many cops there, she volunteers with the force) and then hung out with his buddies all of 150 meters from the scene of the crime.
on the way back we asked the dog handler and he said they got the guy, and we saw him and his buddy in the back of a cruiser and the cops were questioning the girl.
its stunning. there was actually a cop there when i needed one for once XD and in a roundabout sort of way me and my friends helped in a bust.
the moral of the story? don't mess with me, or karma will bite you square in the ass. or something X3
and on a much sadder note, George Carlin died of heart failure yesterday at the age of 71. he has always been a great inspiration to me, and a true modern philosopher. the world truly has lost one of the great minds of the 20th and 21st centuries. Rest In Peace George, you will be missed, and may Joe bless you.
