Ugh yeah Aleve and Advil might as well just be sugar pills for me x.x Only Excedrin migraine extra strength ever worked for my headaches.

I've found that Bayer's back and body (or w/e it's called) works pretty well with body aches. Maybe try that?

I'm more upset because a certain someone told me to take Aleve when I already had and said that it didn't work and they argued about it saying "I was a nurse for 12 years, I know it works". Because yeah, something that works for most people totally works for everyone and I SHOULDN'T be experiencing pain.

I usually take BC, which is just aspirin, and it generally works, but since I took Aleve today, I didn't want to shove more meds in my body.

Yeah I have to deal with pain every day thanks to nerve damage after 7 surgeries in the same area -.- I was told Aleve would help but it doesn't do anything for me.

And yeah I hate it when doctors (or other people) try to tell you that you should do this or take that to relieve such and such but it never works, yet they keep insisting that it will...

Couple years ago I was on a medication that caused me to literally fall asleep. The doctor who prescribed it to me initially told me the side effects shouldn't last any longer than a month. A month later, after falling asleep in class some 2 dozen times or so, I called him and said I was still having those side effects. He suddenly said "Oh well sometimes it can take up to 4 months." ... -.- Then when I asked about 3 months later to be switched to a new medication I was practically scolded and told that I just need to keep taking it... Needless to say I ended up seeing another doctor who prescribed me a new medication with much more tolerable side effects.

I generally take two aleve and one tylenol about every 4 hours. >_>

It isn't usual that I take anything other than vitamin D :C I am kinda scared of pills

If I could function without them, I wouldn't take anything. But my legs and feet are pretty much in screaming, burning pain 24/7. :/

Yeah, mine get pretty bad, especially now with the UPS job and the fact that I have unmedicated arthritis, BUT my irrational fear of pills overrides the pain. :C I try to do other things like take baths with the minerals in them and stretch and stuff to help.

The only respite I get is sleep.. and even then sometimes the twitching and stabbing wakes me up. :(
