And my Motherboard dies. Happy birthday me! SO! I need a new processor too, because I was currently running on a core 2 quad. And neither my Motherboard or CPU will support an upgrade.
Any suggestions on a motherboard? I'm looking around 200usd (+/-) I was thinking ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77. There goes my savings for a new i7 and a motherboard.

Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 with an AMD FX 8-core processor is what I have. It's lovely, but slightly pricey last I checked. Cheggitout.
