But anyways. After watching you on dA for a while then seeing you migrate here, and seeing you acquire a taste for vore, I'd been wondering. How did that come about?

In all honesty, hes been into Vore for quite some time now. ;p

I had figured as much, seeing as one doesn't just catch a fetish like it's contagious. I really just meant to ask what sparked his interest into vore.

those who are into vore have always been into it as long as they can remember, the real question is when did they first realize they were into it.

Like Trauron said, I've *always* been into vore, since childhood already! Vore was the second biggest reason I joined up with FA, just as it says on my front page under the Artist Profile: "I also joined this page to give up on one of my most personal secrets, to stop hiding myself from it and just accept myself with it: I am a vore and macro/micro enthousiast."

So there you have it =P

And what it was that *got* me into vore? A question that's hard to answer, since - in all honesty - I can't remember a day without vore. Though I do think major influences came from the movie Willow from 1989 which featured a two-headed dragonmoster that gobbled up knights aliiiiiiiiiive. And I thought it was awesome =D

Obviously many more influences were at hand, but there's no real way of telling what specific thing got me into it. It just graduately got onto me.

Well, there's effectively something I'd like to know. When did you think of creating Winter? I mean when was he created.

Aaahh well that's an interesting question =] I also might add to that, that it's a mystery really. Well, not exactly a mystery, but it's unknown; he kinda evolved on me.

What's the story behind you becoming a dragon artist?

I think because of their presentation of power, strenght, intellect, etc. They're magnificent beings to draw and especially because of the fact that there is no 'real way' of drawing them. There is an endless amount of artistic creativity when drawing a dragon, pretty much without any boundaries. As long as it looks 'right'.

I did however derive from the dinosaur fandom when I was 14 or so; that's when I got into dragons =p

So what peeked your interests in dragons and vore?

Aahh we go way back there =] I've been into vore for aslong as I can remember, since childhood already! I can't really tell what triggered me into it but I think the movie Willow from 1989 had a major influence. As for dragons, I can't really tell what got me into that either! I think it derived from my huge interest in dinosaurs I had as a kid. Also movies featuring dragons like Elliot and Dragonheart surely had it's influence on me when I was younger. =]

For me it might have been some old cartoons, or my acceptance of a recurring nightmare... which went away when I began to enjoy it.

Dragonheart was the movie though that caused me to search on the internet for the first time. Before the time I knew people shared my interests, I thought of myself as... unique... until I realized I was not.

What got you started with drawing?

Funny how all questions so far make me reach back into my childhood =P

I can't really say there was a single trigger that set me off into drawing; I've been doing that since I can remember. Though it's interesting looking back how my priorities in drawing shifted. Till I turned 10 or 11 I really loved to draw nature or my domestic enviroments. That stopped when I hit high school, practically drawing itself aswell. I got back into it when I was around 15 and I really got into dragons and such. Though, unfortunately, I"ve been lazy with myself and only got myself kicked into high gear when I was 19 or 20 with drawing.

If only I didn't left that gap from 10/11 till 19/20..

Was there any inspiration for and is there any specific spiritual meaning to Winter's markings? I've always found them to be simple, yet elegant and that they really add to the character design.

Why yes they carry a sort of symbolic meaning, or spiritual, i'm not sure myself =p The inspiration to these markings came from when I was younger; I used to scribble similar kind of markings on blocknotes just randomly. Trying to create elegant looking symbols, like from a non-existing language.

First off, the markings refer to his spiritual nature, as to me he *is* more of a spiritual being, rather than a character of my own. It's hard to explain, but I had plans on trying so in the future one way or another. Either way, the symbolism of his markings I discovered myself later on; they refer to the stars. I used to love gazing at the midnight skies and have seen many shooting stars in my life already, which is kind of what you see in his markings; a star and it's curvy tail. And I guess there's alot of symbolism to be found behind someone you mark as a shooting star =]

Well I myself am bi but I am always interested in how people feel with that certain area, considering how much attention is drawn to it psychologically and especially in the media :3

And yeah, how about... if your still drawing in 20 years time, how do you imagine yourself to be art wise, what you may be drawing and why ? :3

Well I think 20 years from now.. it would still be my hobby =] I would've gotten better at it, easily drawing some lines, but not of professional quality. Just much better than the average person =] I'd probably draw some more human stuff as it would be my world anyway - studying psychology soon - along with a dragon here and there =p Actually, I might inspire my future children to draw them!

Is one perhaps an otherkin, and if so how did you first find out?

Nope! Not an otherkin =] Although I'd like to think myself of a so-called 'near kin'. It's kind of difficult to explain, but in any case, I'm not identifying myself as a dragon =] The Winter dragon I drew is merely my mascot on the internet.

how about where did the name come from?

Well the name originates somewhere in the winter of late 2003, early 2004. I cycled through our local woods at night, with a full moon and stars shining, and a few random night clouds. It has been snowing earlier that day and was still untouched on the roads. Because of the full moon the snow had this blue glow on itself, which I found pretty fascinating. From there I made the defination 'winter blue' up for myself. And, well, add my hobby 'art' to it, and you get winter blue art!

I've actually been drawing for quite a long while, since elementary school already. Most of that backstory is covered in other questions already on this journal, but I think drawing dragons started somewhere when I was.. 14.. Atleast, drawing them with thought. Before that I'd have drawn some reptilian like muzzles with little people dangling above it =p
