Okay, Merry Christmas! I know you've been bombarded with MANY Christmas journals but...get used to it.

This Christmas has been somewhat typical and somewhat special. There's ALWAYS conflicts with relatives (ultra-Conservative's, rednecks, paranoid anarchists, and my liberal sister (which I love and will defend at the parties)), but this year we got to avoid some of that because my dad is in the hospital. He had cancer, and we had to SCREAM at him when the signs were evident to go get his ass checked out (literally) and he had part of his colon removed. So today we get to take him home, and he'll be going back into surgery six weeks from now to remove the Colostomy bag. If you don't know what that is and you are sometimes queasy, don't Google it.

But yeah, got to open some presents at the hospital and do a facechat with relatives down in Austin. And guess what?! It's a white Christmas! I'm serious! In NE Texas it has been snowing and we had a fucking white Christmas! AND thanks to I was able to get the gift I really wanted and as a plus, I got the graphics tablet amazon told me that my mom got me.

And so I'll make my new years Resolution's here and with the same journal as the Merry Christmas (since I don't really celebrate New Year's often. Typically I've worked since...well it's just something that happens):

• (PRIORITY) Get a plane ticket and see this next Christmas! I WILL see you love!
• Publish a book I’ve been working on.
• Get twice as many watchers on FA (120)
• Re-write and Finish Decades with Ryan
• Cast Auditions and Write Furday the Fourteenth (Part II & III) sometime this year.
• Start a writing series casting both my love and I
• Move into my own apartment this summer!
• Learn to draw and submit DECENT works of Furry Art to Visually Interpret my stories!
• Kiss

Okay, SOME of you are wondering about the chicken...

I had packed up the minivan with the presents we had opened, and I was taking out the last bundle along with my sister's following (they didn't know where the van was parked). It's raining, they're lagging under the ER awning, and there's a chicken...in the parking lot of the hospital on Christmas! I turn to my sister's (and their friend Heathyr (Hi Heathyr!)) and I'm like, WTF?! Well I PASS the chicken on the way to the car (technically a rooster) and it tries to cross the road where it's almost hit. The car however saw it and stopped, and the chicken went to go hide in the bushes.

My only guess is that he was trying to get to the ER after parking the car. That is why the chicken crossed the road in the rain at a Hospital on Christmas.
