Trip to, heave and ho; Up, down, to and fro- You have no word
I hope everyone's holiday, whatever they celebrate (or even if you don't celebrate) was a good day(s).
I have a couple of announcements, for anyone who is curious:
I will probably have to close my PO box.
At the end of this month my PO box will be closed. There are three reasons for this. The first is that i've gotten much too much lost mail from my box this year; apparently three or four letters were never delivered to my box and the only mail i've recieved since i renewed the box are advertisements to different people who owned the boxes in the past. I'm thinking the letters have been lost, weren't delivered to the right box, or someone had the PO box key illegally copied and is taking my mail. Second reason is I simply can't afford it anymore. Costs around 60 bucks for 6 months, but without any income I'd rather use the money i do earn for food for myself and my pets. Third reason is I simply didn't have enough mail flow.
I am feeling a little better from my bike ride. 40 miles wasn't a smart thing for this kitty to do and she's learned her lesson; but I still do feel accomplished even if it didn't go according to plan. I am a little bit sore, my spine hurts and I think my knees are shot, but I can walk again without limping! scoree :D
For those wondering about my dog, Toby, hig cancer is growing slowly, but he is still around. he is slower than he used to be, but he is still in good spirits. I will keep you all updated as time passes.
I got my father's watch fixed! I'm sure none of you have any idea what i'm talking about, but I own an old military watch that used to be my dad's. It's a manual watch, meaning you have to wind it everyday.. no batteries! And it hasn't been running.. probably for 20 years or so. took it to 11 or 12 places.. half said they couldn't fix it and half said they'd want to charge me ridiculous prices to service it.. I was gonna give up because i couldn't afford it. I tried one more place, they said they'd fix it for SUPER cheap, and polish it up for me. I got it back and not only did they polish but the cleaned the strap AND installed a glass faceplate (the old one was plastic!) for FREE. So now I'm wearing my pops' watch, and i'm so proud. I will take the utmost care of this thing. C:
I dunno what to do about that "friend" of mine. everyone i've talked to personally tells me to get rid of her. don't be her friend anymore. But my Dog it's hard to just erase someone out of your life. I don't think I can do it. I'm doomed. ;;
Christmas eve I brought a bunch of swag to my friends downtown. most of them are homeless but they are close friends and beautiful people. I brought homemade cookies, clothes, jackets, reusable stainless steel canteens, dry foodstuffs that will keep for months, soaps, gloves.. Things they could use. Helpful stuff. I'd been saving slowly for months taking a little out of my paychecks and so I called the 24/7 group up (they are the elites in my book.. the ones who have been through anything rain or shine every day for over a year) and gave these things to them. Hung out for a few hours, and then invited a new friend I made to christmas dinner with my folks. It was a good night :)

I will actually DO a freaking IK reference sheet. I realize i keep saying i'll make one. But then i never actually put it together. I have loads of ref sketches but no ref sheet! wtf IK? x3
It needs to be done. It will probably be traditional.
Also got some fan arts coming. for helpful peoples. For people who tell me to not be sad and for people who care. C:
Would any of you like to see what I was for halloween this year? if so i can post a picture to my scraps. it's nothing special but I thought it was clever. I just didn't wanna post old holiday pictures if nobody cares. xD

Awww, I am so bummed that my letter from last time didn't make it. Did so much doodles. Forever lost..Ah well, JUST DON'T LEAVE, this is the only communication I gots. Gonna make sad kitty noises alll over your shouts man. ALL OVER. Don't tempt me!! :3
WHHHAT? I think I've one of those watches you speak of but in a military store around here. It's soo cool. There's engravings on it. Pretty neat stuff, love going to that store. Buy all my colorful bandanas. :3 Love them. Ugghhghg, favorite thing to wear. Look a dude but eh. -Shrugs.- You should take a picture!! I'd want to see it, old stuff like that can last sooooo long. Like really, they're indestructible sometimes.
I hope Toby is going to be alright. Actually, it was weird. I walked out Christmas day and I saw that someone left a dog at an abandon house next to me. I gave her some old pillows and a old throw down, I gave her some dinner we had, she ate well. She's soooo sweet and nice, the nerve of some people I swear! I call her Berny, shouldn't have named her. Gonna get attached. Wish I could keep her but I can't. She'll be picked up tomorrow. I miss having dogs.

And yeah. FC is surely off..fffff. The vet, is taking most of what I had saved, no faair. I wanted to meet up. :S Maybe next time. DUDE, What did you get for Christmas? HMM? Any cool stufff?
And good, i'm glad you found a place that will at least look at him, maybe even just run a blood test or something.. i dont think those run too much. estimates are good because usually they are willing to work with you based on what you can afford; they usually suggest the most expensive thing to do first, but you do have the option of asking "What are my options" so I hope everything works out at the vet. <3
Mrahhh don't tell me that dude ;___; I went in two or three consecutive times, yelling at the staff people, but they yell back. :/ I was like "I've lost at least 3 letters from people, they havent been returned, it's been MONTHS, so where is my mail?" "Ohhh, well we dont know. sometimes it takes a while." i'm like "WTF dude, it doesn't take half a year to mail a letter." so they tell me to keep coming back and checking with the postmaster. I'm not gonna hassle with that. I wish i could keep it. I havent got the money right now, though.. and If i ever did renew it i'm changing the box because i'm paranoid someone is stealing my mail.
It's just a plastic constructed watch from 1986, nothing too special in terms of indestructibility. xD But it was my dad's so I intend to make it a sort of heirloom and it'll probably be with me till i die. I'll take a picture, though. I love how it ticks. It's like a superfast heart beat. It's very faint but i like putting it up to my ear and lust listening to it. It's like it's alive. Funny thing is, i've always wanted a manual watch. and I didn't know my dad's was manual till i took it in the first time and they said it didn't have batteries. xD
Awww, that was sweet what you did for that pup. It's horrible how people treat animals sometimes. Then again, I also don't like when people mistreat their animals with *too* much love. Like my grandparents. the feed teir dog so much table scraps that dogs aren't supposed to eat, and I feel bad because they are always like "I dont know why he's gained so much weight!" and "He looks sick!" and i'm like "Uhhhhhh. You feed him bread and cake. WHY THE HELL YOU THINK HES GAINED WEIGHT." -_-

I feel so much better now, less stressed. And the pooch next to me is getting picked up in the morning, a bit sad to let her go. She is too sweet and adorable looking.How can you say no to this face? I did the mistake of naming her, now I'm a bit attached. I call her Burnee. She comes to me when I call her too. :3 She'll be a great pet to someone!

I think he's getting better quick not only from the meds but because he knows you love him so much. You're like his medicine ^_^
Awww, she is very sweet. maybe a malamute mix of some kind? I'm sure she'll be given to a loving family.. it's sad to become attached to an animal and then see it leave, but just keep happy thoughts about how you helped her out and how she'll have a nice new home soon. C:

Yeah, i'm not pleased with the box, to say the least. I asked them if I had any withheld mail, maybe it was in the back somewhere, they said no. I kept asking if there was a reason why it hadn't been returned to the sender either and they couldn't answer me. I'm thinking they are either putting my mail in the wrong box or someone copied the PO box key before i opened that box, and is stealing mail for whatever reason. There is just no other explanation as to why several letters are missing and have not been sent back.
Haha, it's not really that great of a costume. But it worked well for me; I got to sport it at work n_n
