A little about my breaktime: Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays

first off. I worked hard this semester and it paid off. got A's and B's O:. it was great
I'm going back to the 21st. not the end of the world baloney, I was home and got to hang out with my dad. it had a been a while since we got to hang out just us. it was a pretty fun day. we got some lunch and what any father and son would do and go look at cars on lots. XD it was pretty cool. for Whatever reason he really wants corvette ZR1. and if you know him you'd know how much of a long shot that is. Anyway we got to look at a lightly used shiny z6 ZO6 corvette. had a nice package on it. vented styled brake lights and everything. he test drove and was complaining about feeling of power. we ( me and the dealer guys with us) all agreed he didn't' push it hard enough XD. later on the lot I got to test drive a 2013 camaro o3o. its pretty cool. so big. probably cause I'm used to my fiesta (party on wheels : P) still a nice I say styling wise XD. I'd pick it over a challenger any day.
then after that we went' by a Toyota-Scion dealer closer to my house (not dorm) to check out the now Scion FR-S (toyota 86 gts I think its called elsewhere.) and I got to take it for a test drive O: highlight of the day no doubt. I may just be into smaller cars but the FR-S felt really good. real bucket seats that actually hold you in place. felt really light and balanced. was a lot of fun to drive. and me not being well practiced in stick (I know how everything works I just need practice. not like I can just go to a friends house and say hey can I screw up your transmission and clutch practicing stick :D) it was still nice featuring semi auto rev timing stuff blips the throttle on a down shift. (I'd still go for a manual if I could XD. one day I'll get to practice). if you're thinking about it. I say go give it go at your local dealer XD. seems like a care to have a lot of fun with. it was a Toyota Subaru joint project so I've read essentially Subaru is coming out with like a sister car the Subaru BRZ. its essentially the same car but I think its supposed to come with more stuff at a higher price(like Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice are essentially the same car)... as far as I know. my fiesta could totally take it on :B Party on wheels.
I had been reading up (okay skimming through) on it here and there and on the site and found Jay leno's garage youtube channel. I knew he was a car guy or at least had a collection that polyphony digital used for some of their sounds and his voice to instruct you in the driving techniques on Gran Turismo for the PSP. pretty good pure racing game at your leisure. those 800 cars are well padded out with multiple versions of Japanese vehicles XD something like 15 civics and 15 S2000's or something. XD I still enjoy it though. anyways Jay Leno's Garage is a cool channel. he genuinely loves cars and vehicles. I like that he features super and hyper cars as well as some every day cars and old stuff O:. Anyways see what he has to say about the FR-S here with a guy from the company to talk about it:
its a cool channel to me. was new to me. sorry if its old news but he uploads new videos which I like that its still going. if you didn't know this was out there I say check out the channel O:
and so onto Christmas. it was a nice day ^^. wasn't expecting anything really. but my Mom (living at home like a champ O:) got me and my sister some things ^^. very thankful and grateful to have her and what she provides. she does work hard O:. She given me some Fast food cards. (I'll be using mainly when I go back to college XD) 50$, an iPad2 which I think is cool even if it isn't the retina display I'm used to. really dont' care what anyone says, but apples touch screens just feel and respond the best nice device. especially as my itouch wears on I can move all my web surfing and video watching to that and leave my ipod to just make the music. the battery is starting to run short. now to save for the new ones : P.
those gifts were great and all but the one I loved the most no doubt was this lego technic set. Its the tow truck one. I spent 10 hours yesterday putting it together XD. these things are like Bionicles turned up to 11. still fun to build showing why I will always love lego over any other building toy. well anyways I loved it. I'm such a nerd I love how everything is put together and works: http://technic.lego.com/en-us/Produ.....ault.aspx#9395 I see some other sets on the site I want to build already. that supercar looks fun.
anyways hope your holiday was good. and I'll be streaming some time tonight because I've been dragging my feet and need to draw commissions and things O:. so tonight I'll be drawing some, a little netflix probably O:. start around 830-900 I'll try for.
