I just weakly sang "a little fall of rain" to a semi-lucid hallucination of... someone I care about... thinking i was about to DIE of a bucking migrane.... i need to get these headaches checked out ASAP they're starting to scare me.
FA+

Also could be a sliiiight allergy to citrus (orange juice and the like) and blue cheese (was told this many moons ago by a doctor, also take with a grain of salt o.o )
Alternatively? eye strain.
Goes without saying a doctor's visit would be a good idea, but also might benefit you to have your eyes checked out somewhere down the road too, since i dunno whether you -do- actually wear glasses or not.

During my semi-hallucination. (i say semi and lucid because I basically created it, new it wasn't actually there but I didn't do anything to get rid of it as it gave me a small amount of comfort, it was kind of a "i wish this person were here." after several choked sobbing apologies and just laying there on my side mumbling lyrics no sane person would have been able to understand, i did FINALLY start to feel better. but dear god... its been alot of it on my right temple lately, this one woke me up and was just throbbing all over.
Just on the safe side though I may suggest to have your blood pressure taken at some point as I know high blood pressures can relate to some forms of headaches though I'm not the greatest specialist(this mostly come from living for years with a brother who only had a single kidney to filter his blood... so most food he must eat had to be low in salt or without any for these reasons).
Anyway, this is all I can think of and I really hope you get better soon however you do it. If it doesn't changes I'd suggest checking in with a doctor even if only to validate if it's "only" stress or something more... I've had too many history of people I know having simple headache problems that were overlooked as nothing that actually proved later on to be something worst. :(
Do try to get better soon, okay?
I hope this is resolved quickly.
Beyond that, avoid loud noises like the plague, try to relax and work on breathing exercises, and be aware of when you're tense or stressed, because it tends to creep up on you unexpectedly. I hope you feel better.
get well soon!
- Steam. If this is a sinus congestion issue breathing in steam can help alleviate the pain.
- Bed rest. If it's a tension issue, then laying down with the lights *OFF* and with something you enjoy playing (movie or musical) in the background can help. Also, don't use your laptop or tablet or smartphone. Sometimes this source can be eyestrain which sneaks up on you.
- Good food. Something good and filling. Comfort food, if you will. I recommend cheesecake.
If you truly are concerned, a doctor's examination might be needed :(
It could be simply eye strain (and with my own eyesight I've had some DOOZY migraines).
Then it could also be a sinus infection. In any event get it checked.

Tonight I'm just using Excedrin capsules, of which I can take an up to 8 in 24hrs. I took my first 2 around 12:30 before the migraine could be more than a dull ache. I have sense taken another two, one at a time when the pain would start to return. Not the best method, and we both should see a doctor, but if you take the acetaminophen/aspirin/caffeine filled tablets when the pain isn't only a mere threat, a dull pain, then you shouldn't have the intense, kill me now, migraines that wake you from sleep.
I hope this helps! Best of luck and feel better!
When the pain is* only a mere threat.
