Thank god for helmets!

I had a guardian helmet today, for sure!
Why?
As I was driving my bike home from work I have to go down a slope. I was driving in the middle of the bicykle road cause I wanted to have a chance of seeing if someone came towards me. The road turns you see and there's forest on both sides so you really can't see that well...
Know what came towards me? A... Not an MC but the smaller version that teens can drive legally. (EU vespa).
I turned right to go around her, she turned LEFT to go around me! Then when we realized we were heading the same direction we both turned and SMACK!!!
Frontal hit! Tire against tire! I flew at least 1.5 metres and somehow turned around in mid-air and hit my back and the back of my head in the pavement, she went down into the more softer ditch.
I thank myself for being such a clever clever girl whom ALWAYS wear a helmet when riding my bike! Cause I could feel through the thing how hard the back of my head would've hit the pavement if I hadn't and that wouldn't have been pretty at all!
None of us got seriously wounded anyways. Bruised and a bit shocked but that's all as far as I currently know... This happened approximately 2 hours ago so I'll get back to you with more info...
My bike is trashed anyways! 8D And her mc is pretty roughed up too >>;
