i have just come into possession of the legendary holy grail of gaming controllers: the steel battalion 'VT' controller.

needless to say, i will be playing much steel battalion soon, but i also have plans for this controller!
the 'best' windows driver for this device is apparently only for windows XP 32 bit. and while i do have winXPx32 in dualboot, i have already managed to make windows 7x64 see the device, and respond to input. if reconfiguration proves too difficult, i will use my winXP boot to play games with it.
i plan on playing the following:
World of Tanks
Mechwarrior online
Hawken
MAME?
anything else badass enough to deserve this controller. >:D (suggestions welcome)

yeah, im sure some will just go buy the 2 new controllers coming out-- both mechwarrior online and Hawken are supposedly getting their own controller, but it looks similar to the SB one.

I look forward to seeing what you do with it.. I only once got to see this running live long ago at a Fry's.. I think I kept the thing from tipping over at least... just a pity that they set this stuff up but never really give you any instructions as to how to succesfully play.
