Tablet Investigation (in need of opinions)
General
I have been planning on buying a new tablet for a while now and I have been saving for a bit and I think I need to start deciding on which product I actually want to buy. Right now i'm looking at two products: Yiynova MSP19U and the ASUS EP121
Yiynova MSP19U: This product has been kinda blowing up on the net (especially since the new drivers have come out) as the amazing alternative cintiq. People's complaints so far seems like problems with the display sometimes being annoying to set up to computers and that there are no hotkey on the tablet itself. Both of these issues aren't a huge concern to me however, considering I don't use hotkeys on the tablet anyway.
Pros:
*Very nice touch screen, without any serious lag, especially when I have to work on big drawings.
*Big Screen (at least I think so) with a resolution of about 1440 x 900
*has a nice adjustable stand and a nice thick glass that is resistant to scratching
*For the most part, people really like this tablet
*it's a fairly new product
Cons:
*I already have a working tablet on my computer right now, though it is a 5 - 6 year old wacom bamboo. I would have to uninstall this tablet in order for this tablet to work, and that also means I would have to buy a mouse for playing computer games like Dota 2 or TF2
*Still looking into reviews and mixed opinions have made it a bit confusing to determine its true strengths/flaws
ASUS EP121: This product has been out for a long time now, so a lot of people call it outdated (and I know people are thinking about upgrading to the Microsoft Surface Pro with Windows 8 but from what I know, its not a very art oriented tablet lacking in pressure sensitivity and such). There has been a lot of good reviews about the product but still wonder if there has been a better product that i'm just not seeing since it has come out.
Pros:
*Portable, so I can work on inking things like HP on the go, which would be very nice for things like trips.
*I have a tablet that works fine on the computer already, so its less of an upgrade and more of an expansion
Cons:
*Outdated(?)
*Because it is portable and has to run everything a computer does, so there's no way I would be able to work on big drawings.
*There will probably be some amount of lag when I draw, not horrible but noticeable.
*Appearently has horrible support and some devices die after only a few months?
*Back stand isn't great from what I hear so I would have to put it in my lap most of the time.
I'll update this more if I think of anything else but it would be really great if I could hear some opinions on this one (especially if you have experience with either of these products). Thank you!

FA+

Yiynova is an attachment screen, so how much you can process will depend on your connected computer. Asus121 can handle my bigger pictures quite well, but if your PC is stronger, i'd probably go for the attachment screen.
You can carry around the Asus, and I draw a lot with it at school, so there's that. It's outdated, but that also means it's cheaper now. Mine has been going strong, but there are some hiccups and bugs with the touch screen. It's probably because I'm using an HP driver for it, instead of the Asus driver, because the Asus driver would only pick up sensitivity on a few programs and not on others. When I bought it, it would pick up SAI but not photoshop, etc. Installing the HP driver fixed it.
I was thinking of replacing mine with Surface Pro, but yeah the pro's kickstand is terrible for drawing on. Personally I really like the case/stand that comes with the Asus, its angle is perfect for me.
Oh and AsusEP121 battery is a little over 3hours on full charge with regular use.
I think it really comes down to whether you draw more at home or outside. Making big pictures on the Asus can get pretty frustrating after a while. A bigger screen really helps!
Yiynova: It sounds really great, though I don't have a desktop computer, I only have a laptop, so I should hope that it wouldn't effect how well it works ><;;; Might be nice though to draw on an interactive screen though, I think theres potential that it could speed up my drawing process digitally. It could also be helpful to just have another monitor for drawings because I usually multitask and the desktop space gets pretty cluttered.
On the other hand, the Yiynova seems more than okay, but being just an external display, so to speak, will mostly depend on your PC's power, while the ASUS is a version of ultrabook converted into a tablet, so it has some power with it, especially because of the SSD.
And on the ASUS, if I recall correctly, you can customize gestures so they act like keyboard shortcuts. I think that that is a major advantage, especially for artists.
