For those of you who haven't heard,  berettafusion lost his brother a few days ago. As far as I know, they haven't been told any details as to how a wonderful healthy and vibrant man died so suddenly. Fuse broke the news to me on Friday my time, and I was devastated. I'd only met his brother twice, but those short moments made me realize that he was a very nice guy.

It is very hard, being so far away from someone you love. It is even harder when that someone suffers something so horrible, and I feel so useless over here. I only wish I could go to him and help him, but at Fuse's request, I'm staying here for now. I know it will take a while for the pain to subside, but at least he knows I'm waiting for him, supporting in spirit where I cannot in body and mind.

I haven't heard from Fuse since Friday, but I put that down to mourning and sorting out the heart-wrenching tasks of preparing for burial. I wish I could be there to hold him through this time, but it seems this is yet another cross I cannot help him bare.
