As for idiots.Understand some people really are that clueless and brainless and they act that way.

Most people will not understand where you're coming from. I say let the people who would appreciate furries find them on their own. I found furries through anime because I was really into anime a long time ago (still am kinda), and I had no outside help - I just discovered them myself. Most furries seem to tell me the same story. So don't go around trying to 'recruit' people (not saying you are, but you know what I mean), because you never know what kind of reaction you may get.

And yeah, it's not so much as I'm recruiting, just tryin to enlighten or give them the facts. I go around all the time sayin that Pandonia (my fursona's panda wife) is my dream girl, so I gotta give the people some reference as to what exactly I'm talkin about, maybe I should stop doin that.

I agree with Kadath062's comment above: furry is something folks have to come to on their own, or they'll never get it.

You musnt wait much from another people. I had luck because some people i meet know i draw furry ( they dont know this is named like that, only one otaku friend mine ) . Only the people who i know they are more open minded, can know this things. You could search more friends , and meet much more people, some really good people. All rest are only for standard fun or less.

Many people dislike furries and at the same time many are ignorant about them, guys especially. when it comes to women though I think being a 'fur' is more acceptable since I know more female furs with non fur bfs then I see male furs with non-fur gfs. This subject is something that has been puzzling me for a while but over all I try to not tell people I'm a fur ( I also don't wear ears or tails or anything of that sort) so when the few people who found out were shocked because I look so 'normal.' Just don't go around trying to show people what you are just let people know if they are intrested but like Kadith said don't go throwing it in peoples faces.

And actually, I have kinda noticed that too. The girls at my school seem to be more accepting of it then the guys, I wonder why? Maybe it's just that they're more mature and can see it as okay, just not somethin they wanna do.

You hang out with idiots. None of my friends give me grief over my fiction. But, then, I don't give them anything particularly sexual to give me grief about. Donno about you.

Side note: It doesn't have to be porn to be sexual. If it's suggestive, or you present it as something that's supposed to be attractive, the same effect will result.

Good point, I got this one drawing where my fursona is a griffin that we know from mythology and my panda wife is riding on him while he's flyin here somewhere, and each and every time I show it, I have to tell people, "NOT THAT KINDA RIDIN!!!" If nothin else, it sounds funny when taken outta context, heh heh!!
