Alright, this is being cross posted on all my journals because I am desperate. I have finished Super Furry Fighters, but I dont know how to make a WORKING torrent. I've used Make Torrent Ver 2.1 to make my torrent file. I suppose I didn't do something right because when I put the torrent file on my site and my boyfriend downloaded it, nothing would happen. I noticed if it was downloaded in Internet Explorer it would want to save the torrent as a ".avi.avi" However if downloaded in FireFox, it would save the torrent as a torrent.
What is a tracker? From my understanding thats where you put the url of the place thats hosting the torrent, right? I put the torrent file on my site ( I have the file I'm wanting to share on my PC ), so wouldn't that make my site the "tracker"?
My computer is hooked up to a router which I share with my boyfriend's computer. Would that cause any issues? I know I have never had a issue downloading files from BitTorrent before.
If anyone knows anything, it would be greatly appreciated.

you could use AZUREUS I supose, since its an all-in-one, includes a built-in TRACKER

Ie, making your router send all connection attemps from your tracker to your hostfile to your computer.
