Right, so here's the situation.
Initially I thought I would have a lean winter because I didn't make as much money this summer as usual. And on top of that, the recovery period from my upcoming hernia patch was going to be workless, resulting in another financial hammering.
And now I wish things were that simple.
In the time between last entry and now, I've been hammered by phone charges that are all kinds of illegal but that I can't fix (fortunately that plan is now canceled), had the rug pulled out from under me all December by my employer and given piss hours (and I believe possibly shorted on pay, looking into that), screwed over by a car battery that refuses to stay charged for more than five minutes, and various other expenses that I shouldn't have but that refuse to stop popping up.
Ergo, my last recourse that I can think of, particularly with regard to making money when I can't stand up in a week's time or so, is commissions. So let's give this one more try. My Camero kinda did the same thing, and it was the Starter Module that was burnt out.
