[Announcement] To all college furs

If you're currently enrolled at any college or university in Michigan, or in high school, you'll probably want to check out the new School Finder over at 
michiganfurs. Go show your Husky, Wildcat, Laker, Lion, or <Other> pride!
In particular, there have been lots and lots of new furs at Northern in the last year or two, and hardly anyone there seems to know each other. I've heard a lot of complaints that "I'm the only fur in town", which is far from true, especially when Marquette is one of the most common cities for furmeets here.
I've thought about doing a user finder here by city, too... would anyone be interested, or is that too private or too redundant?

Hah, it seems like an awesome feature too.
Also to the user by city: probably kinda redundant... it's already up on Michiganfurs... it's not like the UP is it's own state.

I don't think it's needed but to play devils advocate the argument I usually hear is that the major cities in the U.P. are so far apart that it deserves it's own special place. There is some truth to that, for example the drive from Houghton to Marquette is long enough that it could be a real problem for many furs, or the drive from the Soo to Marquette. It's like driving from Ann Arbor to Kalamazoo for a meet, sure it's doable but still not attainable for a good many furs. The idea here is that a U.P. specific listing would help narrow down one's ability to find, meet and arrange face time. Not many trolls come up here just for a meet.
