Again, thank you all for the milestone. It feels awesome to think I've generated an audience so great, who cares about uniqueIDs or whatever. I'm numbered!
Unfortunately my plans to start commissions this week will be slightly postponed because somehow it slipped my mind that my mother was going into the hospital for surgery this weekend, so I'm not going to be able to concentrate on it between my visits up there and taking care of the house. But she should be home early next week, and I'm ever more longing to reach that goal!
I'll post the commission prices later to give everyone a good preview for what to expect, but actual commission placements will have to be later. I'll also have to spend some time collecting the fanart and gifts I know exist and make a journal seperately for them to link to through my profile... speaking of which....
I updated my profile if no one has noticed yet. Should be more helpful in explaining a few things, and especially makes bringing up Arly's reference a bit less like looking for the needle in the haystack. lol

When you start offering commissions, maybe you can offer a theme series of "your character in a giant robot cockpit"? Some artists have done icons involving a particular theme (the bounce icons are a good example), so maybe this will work? You could give them either standard or custom uniforms, and standard or custom cockpits. Might even include labeled buttons for special attacks!
Admittedly, I'm not sure how well this would be accepted, but I thought to offer the suggestion.
The sad part is that I doubt I can get one of these. Money issues.

And my mother is doing quite well now. Even fours months after the surgery, she's up and strolling about without a walker or anything. Just have to keep him from doing anything terribly strenuous.
