I'd have recommended "10%+" for the suggested starting point, but if I have such an awesome grip on what's convenient for the graphic novel audience and what isn't, why won't I go ahead and give that advice IN MY OWN FREAKING JOURNAL, GODDAMNIT ! Secretary would really be a better starting point if only for the art quality. I'm not saying that 10% is badly drawn, but its first half is definitely less marketable.

Considering the market, I don't think I agree with you a hundred percent on your police work. It's easier to take in emotionally, too, since the heart-rending tragedy doesn't start until about halfway into the story, whereas "Secretary" releases its poisonous fumes almost from the get-go. But you must be right. You always am.
