I couldn't follow the process, but I picked up a few tips here and there. Could you do a tutorial vid? I favorited the first one, btw <3

I about lost concentration when the anime showed up in the first one. lol.

But here is what i observed so far.
A base sketch is created. made clean and readable. Then on a separate layer, a color fill is added as a color base to inside the cell of the figure. Clean any messy or unwanted points or edges. Additional colors are added by using simple outlines, then color fill those outlined sections but sometimes special detail is required, the face for example. later additional hues are added for value (highlights and shadows). then it begins to build up on smaller things like eyes, mouth, accessories, etc. all of this is done with the initial sketch still visible. as detail are added with other colors and values, outline is made. not black though. it is lighter and red to correspond with he figure.

well, first step is to actually try. even though you have no clue what you are doing . lol. for those of us who are not that well known with these program at first often learn on there own.
try it out. get aquatinted with your tolls. watch some basic tutorials if you need to. its like college, except your not getting a grade for it.
