Urf. A friend just linked me to Adobe pretty much giving away their Adobe Photoshop CS2 suite for free to anyone who wants to try them out. I don't have the link handy anymore, but I definitely recommend taking a look at those too if you feel like Illustrator, Photoshop, or Premiere might be interesting things to try.

They are not giving away free copies of CS2, the page is a download site for LEGAL OWNERS of CS2 already, as they have taken the activation servers offline. You still require a legal, valid key to install the products. This was a giant hype caused by an idiot reporter who can't understand simple terms.

Exact quote from Adobe:
"What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don't require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. You are only legally entitled to download and install with that serial number if you have a valid license to the product!"

Yes, there are serial numbers there, but that still doesn't mean you are legally entitled to the product.
