People have been remarking about the terrible bushfires that Australia has been experiencing, and wondering if I've been affected. So far the worst have been in New South Wales, although my state certainly has not been spared. Nothing has come even close to where I live as yet, unlike a couple of years ago. The Summer fire season has barely begun though, so who knows what will happen? All I can say is that I'm safe so far, and I'm not too likely to be affected unless one of those damned firebugs starts something locally.
