Well The news of the new pokemon is exciting. I heard some people say they look weird but I think the same thing whenever a new batch comes out. When i first saw some pokemon from johto shown before it came out I saw hoothoot, bellosom and marill and there was that rumor that marill was pikablue if anyone remembers that. but they looked weird and then that feeling goes away when i start playing with them. But I think they look great, i would like to see a tiger pokemon for once ( i'm surprised they haven't done this already). but I have no idea what type of animal the new grass starter is? its the first mammal starter and its rodent like. But i'm excited to see the new pokemon, possibly some more new favorites.
