SIGNIFICANT change in store for Minecraft Texture Packs

As of snapshot 13w02a Minecraft now has a new folder for textures. It would seem that in the near future, you will be able to cobble together a texture pack from many individual images rather than having to tolerate "that one texture" the comes with the pack.
More on this in the future, but if you use my texture packs (or ANY texture packs for that matter) you may soon be able to mix and match rather than having to chose between packs that are "half right".
