12:20 am: Two gunshots, just outside my house, close enough to shake my bedroom window. I was too scared to try and sleep now, but also too scared to get up and do something to take my mind off the gunfire. the helicopter that started patroling overhead for the next 30 minutes wasn't helping. 20 minutes into that fear, I hear another three shots behind my house. I couldn't get to sleep for at least an hour after that. hell, I was surprised I could sleep at all
I can't get tv in my house (long story) so I can't find out until I figure out where online to check for the news.
