Well I just finished watching The Thing my score on a scale of 1 to 10 an 6
The movie was interesting and a good sci fi horror but I felt that was too fast paced
The only suspense was not knowing who was harboring the alien virus but other then that
It went by way to fast one second their checking teeth next only two survivors the fuck is that
About and they told us whats going on too soon another negative is that I saw the concept
Before both the location (Antarctica in AVP) and a creature that merges the corpses of its victims
(Leviathon) I am aware that the version I saw was the new remake version now for the good things
The design of the creature at the beginning and end were quite interesting and aesthetically pleasing
Aswell as the Ripley and Arnold like characters of lars and the protagonist I thought I was nice at
Attempting a bad ass aronld image with a bad ass Sigourney image but those characters were flat infact all of them were flat so you felt no emotions towards them when they died or transformed
All in all it was a decent to good movie if your easy to scare and enjoy being scared or if you enjoy grotesque creatures this movie is for you now I plan to get a copy of the original and compare notes
