WANTED - SL Avatar Commission!
I'm not sure whom to turn to about asking for one, so here goes:
There's an event in October on Second Life I'd like to check out -- an SL comics convention, actually -- but I want to go as my character. Unfortunately Jigsaw falls into the "Just Unique Enough" range that finding a "typical" furry avatar doesn't cut it.
What I need is a custom head and tail at minimum (since Jigsaw is mostly humanoid) as well as a matching skin. I don't mind paying for additional body bits to make the transition as smooth-looking as possible, but you get the idea.
There are plenty of character references available, but my main concern is a certain level of "smoothness" so it looks somewhat like one of my drawings turned 3D. After all, the idea behind the avatar is that it's a promotional effort for my work.
I'm under the impression that the commissions are somewhat cheap (USD $10?), so paying for it shouldn't be a problem. I'll look into more expensive work if I think the quality is sufficient though. Time is not a concern, so long as I receive it before the start of October.
Thanks!
