*Just got the survived the first day to college achievement*

Last night my dad just helped at a wreck were someone died from a crash from the slick rain roads and held them for their last moments. Needless to say he was shaken and advised us to be careful on wet roads today.

SO we are driving back to college (8 hour drive) and my sister who has the GPS and we are following gets lost in the rain. We were trying to keep up with her at 75MPH in the heavy rain. Needless to say we lost control of the car. My calm collected brother was driving luckily and while we lose control all over 3 lanes of traffic and miraculously not crash. a little later we almost lose control and decide that my sister is driving to fast and isnt worth dying trying to catch up to in the rain. So we decide to pull back to about 60ish mph. Suddenly from behind us we hear the horn from a truck. Thinking the worst we assume he is losing control, but no he quickly passing us gets into the lane next to us, horn still blaring. Then he proceeds to MERGE. My brother, shaken but not broken manages to get us out of the way again and we lived. needless to say the rest of the trip was really nervous and now one of my eyes is bloodshot. Other than that nothing was overly eventful.

So yeah, survived first day of college. Woo...
