Anybody have any tech knowledge I need serious help

I love that feeling when your prey is kicking in your gut.
I'm trying to find my WEP key so I can connect my DS to it (Don't give me crap about the cable or whatever those don't exist anymore) I found how to login to my router but whenever I go into the wireless part like it asks It shows me three features and I don't know which one to go to:
Wireless network setup wizard
add wireless devise with WPS
Manual Wireless network setup.
Which of these has my WEP key?
Edit: Currently went to all three not a single one of them has my WEP key so where is it located at?

checked it, no such thing on it. Just a link to login to my router. When I switch to WEP encryption the laptop refuses to connect and the encryption key is hidden by a bunch of dots making it IMPOSSIBLE to see what the key is, even if I switch to the home computer the key is still hidden by those dots, how do I see those dots as letters and numbers?

I have no idea, I have a D-link router my operating system is windows 7 other then that there's no such thing as a 'hide password' checkmark.

I didn't actually change the encryption yet, if I do my laptop isn't able to connect to the internet.

Yeah I want to change it to a WEP but when I tried the made up number combo I made worked for my 3DS and my laptop but not my DS, I had to change it back.

don't know what whitelist is but i've decided since I have two ds systems to just trade between them, thanks for your help i'm going to delete the journal at midnight.

no problem my system has a lot of special 'kinks' since I didn't install it I have no control over it.
