Hope ya have lots of fun!

I have a table, not sure if I will still take it now though, got 3 other cons to go to this year + uni D:
The organisers did take ages! And I don't appreciate how much it costs for a table either, not like we get power supply or anything.
Ah well. Maybe see you there, I'm not used to the anime crowd these days. Kids scare me >w<

If I remember right, the tables are priced a little higher because 1. It's a free con and they need to make money somewhere, but also to reduce the amount of weebs/tracers/crappy folk in general. They're unlikely to be willing to fork out money for something that probably won't sell. When it originally ran as D-con., there was several tables full of (badly) coloured manga pages and traced art. That was back when tables were free though

I remember, I tabled at all of them except last year (far too much drama too close to home surrounding that thing which I was not going to take sides on...). I'm also hoping the quality has improved! I know the money goes to the 4th year animation degree show (I'm in 3rd year), just £15 is just a lot to sit in the stuffy union all day :P

Don't get me started on the drama (guessing you mean the "who's con is it" drama?); I got right involved in it as some slander and stuff was thrown around about a good friend (won't say from which party) but I only go to thaw things to see some friends I don't otherwise see much xD cannae be bothered with weebs!

Silly weebs.. Yup, that! I didn't get involved but there was a lot of bitching between friends and I couldn't stand it, haha. Oh dear :I Hope you have a good one then, can't remember if there's an after-party again this year but I'll definitely be going to that haha x3

Yeah it actually the nightclub that I do the posters for that's running the after party this year; Nanashi Dansu :)

Wow! I actually designed nanashi dansu's first set of characters, purple dragon, Lolita and Kei dude lol I had my own wee bit of dramu with the organiser of that unfortunately v.v I think that is why I can't see the characters up anymore :o
The dramu I referred to above was that shiz with Keddie and his ban crazy times! The stuff he came out with was rediculous!

I am disappointed we have to pay for a table (and I abhor the name change to dojcon... It sounds criminal lol) I also feel that the crowd doesn't appreciate art as much as other cons v.v last year I had a girl across from me selling prints she had done for free out of the uni budget for 50p while fine for her... I go to a professional company where I pay to get nice quality paper and prints, I couldn't sell that low as I wouldn't even break even v.v
She wasn't the only one doing this but as she was opposite me it was all I could see v.v

I have hopes that Dcon will be run better this year but... Currently it looks to be not v.v
