Why this image was chosen - I have actually met Torrle in RL and in the past have enjoyed many of his works, this newer picture from him is no exception. Many of you have probably seen this picture already as it was uploaded back in early October 2012. Torrle's style is attention getting and unique, this minimalist picture is very effective in that the facial expressions are very good. The detailing has been focused on the places where the viewer's attention needs to be and the shading is very strategic. Beyond the technical reasons this picture has a becoming, almost charming look to it as the macro has a "warm and fuzzy" look. I should have reviewed this picture a while ago but I;m just getting around to it now, better late than never!
