Lightweight rules out metal - so you would have to stick to leather. there are various SCA-stores on the net where you might buy some armor, but I don't know if they would fit. The other option would be to ask people who attend SCA-fairs. They might know where else to get some. Yet be warned - neither option will come cheaply. Armor is labor intensive and hence costly.
