Everyone I know has a bamboo tablet and they work just fine. I had my first bamboo for 2 years, and it the one Fur is using now. Don't waste your money on an expensive tablet when you're just starting out with digital art. Literally the only difference between the bamboo and the more expensive tablets (that i've seen) is the size (which shouldn't be an issue since you can zoom in any kind of art program), and the fact that the more expensive ones have buttons that you can program (which by just learning the hotkeys on your computer does for you anyways).

Alright cause the one i was looking at was the silver bamboo that has the 3 or 4 programs with it for 100$, the 80$ one only came with one program so i was just curious on the one. I know alot of artists use the bamboo but i read a few reviews that smashed it to the ground with a few so i just wanted some heads up with it from actual people i know.

Yeah I have the silver one and i love it. Don't let the programs be a big issue though, if nothing else you can use mine, because i'm not using them right now.

I like the silver over the black i think for the purpose that silver will hide the wear to the tablet over the years of use i'm hoping to get from it. black tablets sorta show wear more it seems. so yeah, plus the silver has the zoom feature built into the tablet and the 6 plus 2 programmable keys seems nice. Coarse it might take me years to get use to drawing on the thing XD
