So I am never gonna take the MegaBus down to Atlanta again. 6-hour holdover Knoxville, Tennessee. Forgettaboutit. So I am gonna do what I did 2 years ago me thinks. I'm gonna get in my tired car, and drive down there. Last time I did it, it was a 16 hour drive, but it was a ton of fun and way better than taking a 24 hour bus ride with 3 transfers. Yes, the bus is way cheaper, but this is a con. It's supposed to be fun! When I took that bus, I felt like I was going to die. lol. Also I missed my ability to drive when I was down there last year. Sooo, I am thinking of inviting two peeps to take the trip down with me and ska. It won't be cheap though. I am estimating the total cost of the round-trip in the car to be around $400 or so (it was $300 2 years ago when gas and tolls were cheaper, and my old car had a good bit better mpg). So divided among 4 people, that would come out to around $100 a person or so for the car ride. So I am just putting this out there to see if there is any general interest. By commenting here, you are in NO WAY reserving a seat, and I will post another journal later on about that if I decide to even go through with this method. We may fly or suck it up and bus it again.
