That would likely fall under Cave Mirromy habitat. Most of their homes are grotto.

Maybe, since each type of mirromy have diferent life style (I guess, u know cuz each type have their own likes and hates), some groups of them probabl have their own traditions, idioms or probably diferent accents.

Well, as for breeding, my own personal opinion is that their different breeds should be able to interbreed, but probably not outside the species. Mirromy hybrids with other species might be a bit too weird.

Well, they can easily breed in species. But I was thinking about how far they could essentially go out with having such an adaptable dna. Possibly only other aquatic creatures, not too far off their own line of evolution or family.

I wouldn't really say a group. Anyone who would be outcast are those who are not social or those who are aggressive. Those are often pushed out of essentially the gene pool. Other Mirromy are very protective of children and their extended families.

Pets, yes. Mounts... undecided.

If I might be so bold, might I suggest a type of filter feeder as a pet? Serving a useful task in keeping the Mirromy's water supply clear whilest serving as a compaion. :D

What about a Rock type (oh god sounding like pokemon at this point) I'm thinking it would be a sharp contrast to their supple forms if there was a more ridged, rocky and I dare say chitinous cousin.

Albino's are uncommon, but not horribly rare. The "mascot" persay of the group, Hush is an albino Mirromy.

Rock type might be too much of a stretch at the moment. I'll think on the possibilities of it though.

Could they survive near blistering heat, volcanic terrain?

I am making a volcanic type... but mostly for around underwater volcanoes and islands. But yes, they will be able to take the heat.

I believe the two mentioned types are the only ones that may yet to be done, one of a more mountainous/rocky type and the other a more desert based type, though the latter may be a stretch due to it bearing similarities to the Polar Mirromy, and due to it being rather plump with small antennae/eye on the surface in a cold environment, a hot environment might be a tad overkill in altering it's features.

Having an environment that is generally dangerous to the race as a whole might add more to the Mirromy than simply letting them adapt to everything like unstoppable machines, as for the more rocky type I believe it would be similar to the polar, though perhaps longer features, maybe it has tendrils upon it's forearms or other parts of the body to allow greater ease of climbing?

One thing I have been thinking of though, the Mirromy generally adapt to the environment over great periods of time, perhaps there could be ones that are lone-wolves, designed around using a rather rapid adaptive color changing skin akin to a Chameleon? It would generally be suitable to a more loneful Mirromy type rather than a small group as a group may wish to be quicker to feed their kin via scouting groups than sit silently in wait over hours at a time to feed. I would presume they would be quite lengthy/lanky with rather long and flat tendrils/tentacles/antennae with their surfaces similar to a Gecko so they may keep closer to surfaces and sticking to them (perhaps also using them to wrestle with their prey akin to an octopus?), with longer tongues or perhaps they may even be able to project/spit their tongue needles at their prey so they may not reveal their location, later seeking out said prey as the paralytic poison takes effect and claiming their prize.

I am mostly staying away from types that aren't close to water, giving them a reasonably large weakness imo. The climber are not too different from the lone wolf types you described, but I am unsure if I want color changing to be in their abilities as it makes them even more powerful as well.

They adapt to their environment pretty quickly actually. Over about 20 years of intense subjection to it. Their overall DNA will surface other features by being subjected to certain things. That is why being social, lack of war, and interbreeding are so important to them. It keeps them as a whole more adaptable to their ever changing world. All Mirromy can become any of the types if they are in that environment long enough.

Deep Sea, yes. I am working on them.

I believe she's making a deep sea type, and considering the two other mirrormys that live in water are relatively close to the surface, it'll probably be swimming with anglers

A type I haven't seen implied yet: Inland sea types, ones that have some very different characteristics from most other Mirromy, perhaps being a lost tribe of sorts to outside Mirromy culture.

I would figure the swamp mirromy would be more geared towards predatory defense and being able to hide out of water, such as swamp trees and such. Their skins might be even poisonous.

When you're done with the current list will you be doing a full ref of all of them side by side? I think that'd be really good to show the differences :3

$20 is base price for pretty much what I have done so far. If you want additional things, like making them into a subspecies, it may cost more depending one which.

No, not really. The closest would be Volcanic Mirromy, as they tend to be more aggressive and loner-like than the other breeds. Though they could easily be influenced by other species or brainwashed. Since they aren't particularly smart overall. In a future like setting I plan to have a more technological aspect to them as they become smarter, which would definately fray the lines that are the species as a whole.
