I don't think this game deserves hate. It deserves mockery. A striped down wannabe comes in claiming to be the next Devil May Cry with a protagonist who acts like a teenager who never got disciplined.

We shouldn't be angry with it. We should point and laugh at it's hackneyed plot, it's painful attempts at "Maturity".

The only throne this game deserves to sit next to is OTher M's "Games that ruined perfectly good franchises by trying something remarkably stupid."

And yeah, excellent way of putting it, this is the Other M of DMC, basically. Other M was so bad and did so poorly, even in Japan, that Nintendo has actually started thinking twice about doing any more Metroid games. I think DmC will have the same effect on DMC, unless Hideki Kamiya succeeds in buying Platinum the rights to a proper DMC5.

It's amazing really, I never had a problem with punk fashion until now, cause now I can only associate it with Donte and such similar types of people.
