Saving up for a new Desktop PC (HELP ME!)

So I a not going to be buying any commissions for like the next month. Or two depends if I want to get a good Desktop PC.
But I need a hand since my modem is in the living room and I don't want to impose with a giant ethernet cable going across the floor which I or my mum may trip over so yeah. I need it to be wireless.
Since I am stoopid when it comes to computers and the likes I ask you the reader a question. (god I feel dumb for asking this.)
But can desktop PC's be Wireless? ; w;

You have to buy a wireless card for the desktop.

Yes, they can via Wireless Network card.

Question's been answered, but yes, desktop PC's can be wireless with either an internal wireless card, or a wireless adapter that connects to the computer via USB.
