Anthrocon? What's it like?

Never been in my life due to me being on the other side of the world xD Though in a years time I am planning on going to it... Whenever it is. Whatever it is.
Have you been? What's it like? What do you do? Actually another interesting question would be how many of you actually do or don't go to these things?
I'm sorry I'm rambling. I just lost a lot of the motivation to make art today after there was a continuous damn perspective optical illusion problem thing, which means I have to redesign everything all over again. SO MUCH WORK D:
Anyway have a fun day. Or night.

FA+

Thats my complete and totally unbiased, non judgemental opinion.
Stuff to do:
There are panels and events, although in all likelyhood you'll only find three or four you want to attend (and the more cons you attend, the fewer events you'll find interesting).
Meet people.
Hang out with people you already know.
Buy stuff.
Sell stuff.
Look at
pornart.I understand Auspher's position, though I do not agree with it. Yes, furry conventions invariably have a singular atmosphere of sexual tension, but (at least in my opinion) it is NOT shoved in your face. You can find it, if you're looking for it. You can also avoid it, if it's not what you're into.
The single biggest thing about such conventions is friends that do not get to see each other often get the chance to see and spend time together, and new friends have the chance to meet.
AC is a social gathering.
And it is increasingly massive every year.
