It's Tuesday Again. Question Time.

You know what to do. Go nuts.
Anything goes. Me, my characters, life, the universe and everything. You're welcome to note me if you wanna ask something you're not comfortable asking in public.
And who knows? Maybe I'll get my brain in gear enough to ask other people some questions this time, too! If anyone else is still doing this...

Yeah, there have been a few people I've had some feelings for, and yes that includes some people I still know and talk to. But then, Eliki is pretty much the perfect example of this given how long he and I were friends before we started dating. And yes, for the most part, I've been to timid to admit to people that I liked them. I don't know how I ever found the courage to say as much to Eliki.
If that makes any sort of sense.
Yes, in that I've gotten some very interesting questions over the course of posting these journals, and one or two that really made me stop and think which was quite nice.
No in that there's still that tiny bit of narcissism in me that craves the attention and the chance to tell people what I think. It's just kind of fun.
2. would you rather sleep in a warm room or a cool one?
3. do you like the feeling of getting a hickey?
4. assuming the person is someone you'd kiss passionately, would you allow them to give you a hickey?
5. would you want to give them one?
6. are the last 3 questions personal enough or should I dig deeper? =p
2. A warm room, definitely. Hell, even a hot one. Given the choice, I'd far rather swelter than freeze.
3. Depends on how it's done. My first girlfriend had a knack for making them hurt like crazy.
4. Biting's more my style. It doesn't leave quite so obvious a mark for people to stare at.
5. I'm no good at them, myself. But maybe, if they were into it.
6. Well, now that you've piqued my curiosity...!
2. gimme cool. then I can bundle up under nice comforting and safe covers
3. I love the feeling so
4. absolutely...might even hint to get one
5. I like getting them MUCH more than giving them
6. he he...these were a fluke. I'll think and see if I can find some that are embarrassing but don't cross the line into creepy.....how's that?
2. Yeah, that's what a lot of people say, and it makes sense. But I hate having to wear any more clothing than is necessary to preserve basic decency, and the sanctity of other people's eyes.
3. Yeah, done right they can be very nice, I agree.
4. *Bites her tongue*
5. I'm more equal opportunity, let's say.
6. Fair enough. I can never think of any really naughty questions that don't feel totally creepy and inappropriate, myself, so no pressure.
7. would you rather have a sex partner who is dominating or submissive?
8. what is your immediate reaction to someone jovially slapping you on the back in public?
9. Or patting your back to 'make you feel better'?
10. Don't you hate it when you go to shake hands with someone and they grab your fingers so you can't get a proper hold on their hand?
11. Are you a 'touchy' person? IE...someone who likes to be touched and touches others during a conversation? (not necessarily meaning anything by it, but just as normal hand gesturing)
12. If not, do 'touchy' people bother you?
13. Approximately how big is your 'personal space'?
14. If someone moves inside your 'personal space' would you:
a. move away
b. tolerate it
c. ask them to move away
d.get angry
e. spit in their face (=p)
That's it for now.....maybe more later if'n ya want. >:3
7. Actually, I think my ideal would be someone who could switch off between dominance and submission, and not take it too far in either direction. Sometimes it's fun to be tied up, even if metaphorically, and sometimes it's fun to be the one tightening the ropes.
8. That depends on whether it's someone I know or not. If they're a friend, well I'm not too crazy about that sort of thing but I'm willing to let it pass. If a total stranger did that to me, I think I'd move away from them as quick as I can.
9. Same as no. 8, really. I know it makes me sound ungrateful, especially if the person actually means well, but I'm not wild about being touched or patted.
10. Oh yeah. Fortunately, that hasn't happened to me much, but I hate when people squeeze your fingers or your hand in any way. A handshake shouldn't be a test of strength, and it makes me trust them a whole lot less than I would otherwise do.
11. Oh, no. Not at all. Again, I know this probably makes me sound pretty unfriendly, but I don't tend to touch people much unless we're in a situation where I would feel it's appropriate. I'm okay with hugging friends and family, for example, if they want to, but I don't just touch people for no reason.
12. They do, quite a bit actually. I regard touching as something fairly intimate and personal, and not something that should be done just because. Which, I know, sounds odd given all the cuddling and related activities that my characters do with each other, but I tend to view that as something rather different.
13. Good question. On the whole, I like to keep strangers and casual acquaintances, such as co-workers, at something like an arm's length. Friends and family can get a little closer, but unless they're a lover I don't really want them right on top of me.
14. That really depends on the circumstances, and who it is. I'd probably move away if I had the option, though I try to do so gently without making it seem like a big deal. Most people, I think, don't mean any harm, and some probably wouldn't understand why, for example, random touching was bothersome. Now if they kept doing it after I asked them to stop, I'd probably get angry, but it's not an immediate reaction. And I can tolerate having people close to me if I have to. When I was in London, for example, I used the subway system quite a bit and there were times when people were packed so tightly into the cars that you couldn't avoid bumping into them a little. I don't know if I could stand that if I had to do it every day, but once in a while isn't too bad.
And now that I've made myself sounds like a totally hostile, anti-social bitch, I suppose that's that! But thanks for asking the questions, and for participating!
