Hehehe You are welcome. I have had several friends from your country. Most have been rather admirable with a few rather bothersome ones interspersed. I enjoy conversing with you guys. Even attempted learning to speak your language once (sadly i am a horrible learner when it comes to languages).

hahaha! I get that a lot. Germanic langages are difficult. And there are always rotten apples to screw it up for the rest. Every group of people experiences that.

Dutch to me: neutral, polite and friendly. I've always found people from the area to be incredibly smart and entertaining, as well as good mannered. Also, probably better at speaking proper English than us dumbass Americans ;D I've no excuse beyond trailer trash family roots, ha! My family is Prussian/Germanic but I have no experience with the language so that last part is pretty awesome. I don't feel that everyone in a country HAS to speak the main languages, but it sure helps everyone out if they do!

I'd say the Dutch are friendly, community-based and peaceful.

Without looking it all up, what springs to my mind in no particular order is:

Dykes, Anne Frank, a really flat place, The International Court at The Hague, Edam and Gouda cheeses, the colour orange, windmills, tulips, clogs, Protestants, Advocaat, Heineken and Grolsch beers, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, the Amsterdam Beer Museum, an infamous red light district in Amsterdam, barges, fierljeppen, Queen Beatrix, a really good football (aka soccer) team, Fokker aircraft, really long words that often have a double 'a', land reclamation, Van Gogh and tall people.

I've not been to the Netherlands, although I'd love to go. It sounds like a lovely place :)
