So thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Turns out my young neice has recently been admitted to the hospital due to jerking and spasms that seem to be getting worse. Unsure of the cause of it, but it's definitely progressing. I'll keep updates on here as I learn more.

Update on this, the neurologist believes it to be a severe case of Tourette's Syndrome, one of the worst he's seen, and has started my neice on some medication. She's taking it in stride, very accepting and strong, which is heartening for my sister and brother-in-law. Hopefully this can be managed, though I really know nothing about Tourette's. It's a painful diagnosis to hear, especially as she was working so hard to be such a beautiful little ballerina.

Tourette's has been dismissed in favor of PANDAS, essentially brain scarring after a strep infection doesn't hit the area it's supposed to. I'm still looking up infor on it myself.
