Gun crime has always been low in England even before gun control. But ya know what is different? England has a much higher robbery, assault, and rape rate that the USA. and thos crime skyrocketed after the gun bans were passed. Coincidence? I think not.

Yeah, but that's one year, when previous years America's were much higher, and have pretty much always been higher, and that's just for rape, I don't know where you got the robbery statistics from, but it's lower here from the stats I looked at xD. And this year England's rape stats is only slightly higher anyway ,whether as on the other hand the majority of other countries with gun control have far lower stats.

I mean, America's murder rates are almost 4 times higher than most first world countries, and even higher than freaking borderline 3rd world countries such as Argentina is that a coincidence? And it's not like you could completely ban guns there anyway because it would be impractical, but at least regulate them better! That's not asking much, and if it could save at least one life it would be worth it!

I mean... 600 murders with guns have happened in the space of a month or so there, doesn't that bother you?

Ban assault weapons (what the public thinks they are anyways?) Already banned. You can't get a new full auto weapon. The only way to is to find someone that has it pre-ban and pay alot ($10k+). Criminals? $300.

Ban AP ammo? Already banned to manufacture. The only way to ban ownership is if they do an inspection.

Ban high capacity? Anyone that can shoot a gun can reload fast enough to make it negligible.

Background checks? Already done.

Finger printing? Done.

Yeah... I know? And it's still not good enough though dude >.>.

So lets hear your proposal on this "better regulation" which would not violate anyones rights and would stop criminals obtaining illegal guns illegally on the black market or from other criminals which usually get them from out of country.

Yeah it does bother me. Because it's proof of the failure of gun control. Nearly all of those murders have occurred with 1: illegally acquired firearms and 2: taken place in a "gun free zone".

Here's a fun fact. The proposals being made by Obama only affect "assault weapons" yet "assault weapons cause less deaths per year than hammers. so why is he focusing on them?

You really don't think this is the fault of a rabid gun culture that people like you promote? And you're blaming efforts to actually contain the horrific shootings that happen? So what do you propose then, arming kids?

No. It's not caused by the gun culture. Most of the murders in this country are committed by gangs who who are not part of the gun culture because the gun culture does not encourage a gun owner to kill people outside of self defense. Also, a good number of that murder rate is made up of criminals killed in self defense.

And how about this. It's estimated that 2,5 million crimes are prevented each year by law abiding gun owners.

As for children. The gun culture expects responsible parents to teach their children from a young age about the safety and proper use of a firearm.

Definitely glad you are both ok. However, I wouldn't call this a school shooting. Of course I'm basing this off of the idea that a school shooting is someone who planned to go into the school to kill as many people as possible. What THIS is is some thug getting into an argument over some bullshit. If you think this should be considered a school shooting, then why not call any other gang related shooting a (name of area) shooting? Example: Street shooting, Mall shooting, Bar shooting, Public Pool shooting, ect. If I would have known you and your sister went to the school, I would have stopped what I was doing at work and called you. Though I'm sure your phone was blowing up with all the other call from loved ones.
