Shifting times...Still in a state of wonder.
Unfortunately it's not the good kind of wonder but rather the kind of wonder where I happen to see my temp job of a floor operator (or whatever they call us) though the eyes of an engineer. >.< Namely with how disorganized their production runs/jobs are or perhaps that a good chunk of their machines are lemons in the fact they've been there ever since the plant's original owners purchased them (which could be anywhere from 15 years ago or likely far more) and the fact that I feel like the plant is a bit inefficient in terms of where the flow of product goes from rolls of paper to finished product. This is a case of "boy I wish I was an engineer again" so I could actually do something about said problems because I don't see the line supervisors taking charge to make sure those issues are resolved in a timely manner - as such that's why I was let out of work an hour and 20 minutes early today since they wouldn't have the next run/job ready before the end of my shift. >.<
It seems like I write less on LJ than I used to no small part thanks to my current work schedule. Then again I hardly see anyone on there anymore and I'm not really interested in going over to babyfur.me (as it's drama-filled like some other places *coughSLcough*). Also...since MSN seems to be going extinct any of my regular Live Messenger contacts who still like to talk with me please lemme know if you have an alternative IM I could add you on or perhaps even a Skype account (because I'm not gonna waste time trying to migrate my Live Messenger contacts onto a separate Skype account).
I also found a good deal on Warhammer 40K: Space Marine at Best Buy for literally $10. :3 Though my mom made it part of my Christmas gift from my grandma, that's still quite a bargain (especially considering Best Buy still has a $50 price tag on it). The only downside is that I think I need like a XBox 360 controller or the like because the mouse/keyboard is kinda lanky for the game, especially in multiplayer.
Other than that I haven't been up to much besides working and trying to look for a better job.

Actually, Skype can automatically move your MSN contacts over, so long as you link them.
