FC 2013 wrap up...

To say the least, FC 2013 was...
...HOLY CRAP AWESOME!
I had such a great time with everything, well, almost. Parking was near impossible Sunday and Monday, but that's what I get for not getting a room. I'll be sure to fix that next year.
Thursday was slow, I went straight to the con after class. Got there too late for any of the events so I just grabbed my badge and took some photos until 10:30ish, Ran into
gamer_wolf84 then went home. Woke up early Friday and went straight to the con, got suited up and ran around the con for about an hour then the dealers den, then lots of wandering. I decided to hit a few panels and Kage/2's story hour and the dance comp, got front row seats for both. Met up with my friend 
ratcabob for the dance comp and ended up sitting next to 
Matrices. Went and got suited up again after the comp and hung out in the convention center until 2am.
Got to the convention around 11 on Saturday and hit the dealers den before the parade. Picked up some Dr. Who buttons, a sweet Rainbow Dash print, a couple of "Certified" badges and a handfull of things for some friends of mine who did not attend the con. Got suited, went to the parade line up and hung out there for an hour before the parade started, marched, then spent another hour post parade chatting with the suiters. Spent the next few hours wandering the con with my Derpy Hooves plushie until the advanced fursuit construction pannel. Met up with ratcabob again then later went to play cards against humanity with her, 
JCs_Fluffy_Tail (dressed as Slender Man) and the rest of their roommates (
charizardlover and 
suithewolf and Monrana) until past midnight. Ended up running into 
flurrycat aka monoyasha and 
caninehybrid and spent a couple hours chatting with them until it was time for all to split for bed.
Sunday got off to a rough start, no parking! I ended up just going home after my first attempt and just waiting until 2pm ish to try again. Got lucky and snagged not only a spot but the guy leaving handed me his ticket (huzah, for random acts of kindness). Rushed off to the plushie panel then to the Pony panel (I went up and asked a question to the panelists [dustykatt and Mic the Microphone among them] and got a parasprite stress ball thrown to me by Dusty, "You with the Derpy plushie!") Hit up FC: Unleashed and then went back again to ratcabob's hotel for pizza, bought by the amazing JCs_Fluffy_Tail. Nommed on pizza then went suiting, unfortunately missing the "Men in Suits" screening. Hit the dance, again, and went home late.
Monday was almost too chill. I was super burned out at this point, almost dozed off several times. Got the the con late again (parking again) and took Derpy to meet up with RatGirl and JC; helped them load up their stuff and after they dropped it off at RatGirl's house we went for La Vics. I ate, then near vegged out in the Marriot lobby. Chilled in the artist alley with everyone and ran into
kturtle and his army of pony toys. I added derpy to his table (not for keeps = P ). Also met 
happywulf in person and got to chat with him for a bit then hit the dead dog for a bit around when JC and Char came back from the wrestling match. Apparently, they got on TV, JC was dressed as Slendy again.
I had such a great time and I can't wait for next year.
Pros: Local (great nearby parking), lots of free stuff (!), easy to navigate between events, con space wasn't too big or too small, lots of people to chat with.
Cons: Parking! (The volleyball parents took EVERY SPOT! And any they didn't take they threw tables and tents and boxes and shit in.)
Overall: 10/10 - Best con I've been to!
