Back from FC

So posting this a bit late, but I have been busy since we got back on last Monday.
had a good time, but it was quite a handful taking care of my daughter there, who is now two years old and helping my husband with his first fursuit.
We flew into San Jose from Utah. I was up practically up all night before we had flown out on Thursday evening. I tend to do all the cleaning and packing before trips. When we had finally gotten to the hotel, once again we had troubles. Not as many as last year with the Hilton, but still peeved. We had a room with no central air. It was so hot. There was no effort made by the hotel till mid Friday, even with all the calls and speaking to various employees at the front desk.
I thankfully was able to meet up with 99% of everyone I wanted to see. I even ran into some folks I hadn't expected, such as

Honeyclaw was great. I felt bad he wasn't able to show up till Saturday though. His Badger head was awesome. Little Zoe was mesmerized by his eyes that lit up.
I wanted to say thank you to the following suiters for interacting with little Zoe:

The only thing I was dissapointed with my time at FC, was that I was not able to attend the only three panels I really wanted to x_x. I think FC 2013 is Zoe's last till shes a bit easier to take care of. Her nutrition was not up to par as she refused to eat and drink many times. She also had an attitude most of the time since I was not solely concentrating on her.
I guess I was just grateful and happy to run into those who I did. While at FC I found about about BLFC http://www.biggestlittlefurcon.org/. With the hubs now addicted to suiting, he's now wanting to attend more than one a year when its doable. The hotel that BLFC is to take place at is very nice. I have stayed at it before for SNAFU.
One thing that made me quite happy while at FC was getting Zoe's new badger kigu from
mangoislandcreations. Sadly we did not get any photos nor did she wear it for long with how hot the Marriott and convention concourse was during the duration of FC. Once the air cleans up out here, I will take some outdoor photos of Zoe in her kigu.

Another great part of FC was the badge I received by byn If you have the time check out his artwork. It's all traditionally done and his mate does some wonderful wood work as well justsomekalak

Sounds like you had a fun con! BLFC does sound interesting, it looks to have a very strong attendance for a first year convention. But, hey, fursuit laser tag and mini golf, what's not to love?!
If your husband is keen on getting out in suit some more, he's certainly welcome to join in on any activities we put together. Maybe some fursuit bowling? And, of course, you and your daughter are always welcome to join in on the activities. :)
Anywho, thanks again for the awesome squeaky bone (my dog is jealous), and it was fun getting to interact and dance with you and your daughter at FC!
The hotel BLFC is to take place at is great. So much offered under one roof.
I'll inform the hubs about possible activities. I hope to have a suit by Sept.
LOL your welcome (the bone). I have tried to bring at least one type of freebies to hand out each year while at FC. This year it was remaining bones and inflatable paw pride boppers. I am ao far I have found paw shaped hand fans i think would be great for in the headless lounge. I would love to hand out the over-sized shutter shades, but I haven't been able to find a site that carries them in bulk yet.
You were definitely one my daughters favorite suiters this year. She giggled and laughed the most with you. Was a nice break form the attitude she had most of the time at FC @_@.
What kind of suit are you wanting to get?
I need to add some markings to her though. Not sure if the artist whom did it for me will be able to edit her though, as shes very busy currently. May need to get a whole new sheet done, but so many artist are currently unavailable.
